Meet The Bains

Brian and his wife, Adriana, have formed The Bain Group to work with all types of buyers and sellers of real estate. Brian's unique legal background combined with Adriana's recruiting experience makes our approach uncommon to other real estate teams. Our mission is to serve this community in residential real-estate transactions with the highest level of expertise. We will do this by carefully listening and partnering with clients to fully understand each individual’s needs so that we can counsel and educate you step-by-step through the process of selling and buying your house. But most importantly, they are looking forward to connecting with you and walking with you every step of the way.

  • Owner, Broker,

    Attorney-At-Law

Brian grew up in Concord, North Carolina and has lived and worked in the Charlotte Metro area for over 35 years. After graduating from Western Carolina University in 1998, he decided to forego the Major League Baseball draft (Redsox-1998) and instead, attended Campbell Law School where he received a joint JD/MBA degree in 2001. As a real estate lawyer, Brian has a unique understanding of all the many complexities of real estate transactions and has counseled over 10,000 home buyers and sellers. Now he applies his real estate legal experience to represent buyers and sellers of real estate from the very beginning of the transaction all the way through to closing. Brian is also a Court appointed Commissioner, which allows him to represent all different types of judicial sales, from estate, incompetency and partition actions.

  • Broker, Chief-Visionary Officer

Adriana started her career as a recruiter working to help her clients find jobs that matched their skill sets within her firm. She knew right away that working with people was a definite passion. She loves getting to know people and helping them during a time of transition. Little did she know that this job was preparing her for a job in real estate down the road. After her husband, Brian, began in the real estate industry, she quickly learned that she too loved everything about real estate. Specifically, she loves the relationship side of real estate much like she enjoyed “getting to know” her clients in her days as a recruiter. After Brian had been in the industry for some time, they both realized that together they could have an even bigger impact in the real estate world. Brian had all the legal competency and tons of experience and Adriana brought the passion and the relational part and together they just couldn’t wait until the right time to partner in helping their friends and family through the transition and transformation of real estate.

Meet Our Team

  • Kierra officially joined The Bain Group in April of 2023, working alongside Adriana and Brian as a Real Estate Agent, assisting both buyers and sellers in Charlotte, Concord, Kannapolis, Huntersville, Cornelius, Matthews, Salisbury, and surrounding areas.

Her background is in investment banking and consulting, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Kierra also possesses a real estate license in North Carolina and has plans to obtain licenses in neighboring states in the future.

Originally hailing from Arkport, NY, Kierra relocated to the region a little over 2 years ago and now resides in Concord, NC.

A delightful individual, Kierra consistently goes the extra mile for her clients. Kierra is enthusiastic about taking on more clients in the area and helping them achieve their dreams of home ownership.

  • Ahlivia officially became a member of The Bain Group in August 2023. With her unique background in law and her recent real estate license, she will be working closely with the team as a Legal Assistant and Transaction Coordinator. She is thrilled to serve clients in Charlotte, Concord, and neighboring areas.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, Ahlivia pursued her studies at the University of Illinois, majoring in Psychology and Pre-Law. She then attended Indiana Tech Law School, which unfortunately closed its doors in 2017.

Undeterred, Ahlivia transitioned from a career in coaching to the world of mental health and, following her marriage, discovered her passion for real estate. Especially drawn to its investment facet and vast career prospects, she was excited to put her law background to use with The Bain Group.

In 2022, love brought her and Granville Washington together in matrimony. The couple, along with their fur babies Raleigh and Titan, have made a cozy home in Concord.

Ahlivia enjoys diving into a good book, practicing pilates, crocheting, and nurturing her houseplants. She is also on a path to obtaining her real estate licensure in SC and IN, expanding her reach and expertise.

A serendipitous meeting with the Bains at a church Bible study became a strong bond. Their support and advice during her licensing journey made a world of difference.

Ahlivia recalls the guidance and encouragement she received from them and feels deeply grateful. She is looking forward to blending her law knowledge and real estate aspirations to make dreams come true for countless clients. Ahlivia is dedicated, and enthusiastic, and feels very blessed to be using her skills at The Bain Group.
